Does he love me or am I being used for ? Someone bluntly tell me the truth!!?

1m 21 and he is 26. Someone please just be totally blunt and honest with me. I just want the truth. My boyfriend was really into me and I know he loved me because he chased me for a year and a half and even when i ignored him, he was really hurt. Once i suggested we couldnt be together and he was really hurt so i know he does love me but I want more..!! After that we'vwe been together for 2-3 months and in the first month we both truly did love each other. He is kind, honest, mature and responsible and extremely gorgeous!! Now Im just so confused but now all we do is make out and we hardly go outside and he doesnt communicate so well. Im from england and he is from Germany so his English is quite poor. I ALWYAS try to make conversation but its like he doesnt wanna talk and according to him there isnt anything interesting to talk about so we just stay silent and its beginning to eat me up because I just dont wanna think that I am being used for and dont wanna loose him. I really really wanna make this relationship work (and do wanna marry him) but he is very reserved..!! In summary - all we do is make out and I just wanna know if he truly still LOVES me, I asked him too and he says he does but im not sure. Shall I give him an ultimatum? if so - what kind of ultimatum?!?!?!
