If the universe is proof of God, then why isn't it proof of?

The proof is in the pudding not the universe. The universe is a book of universal law that man is just beginning to comprehend. The ancient, sand dwelling, non-bathers certainly had no more clue than the modern day sheep who still follow their rantings.
