Hamster owners/lovers, important question before getting a new hamster?

If u possibly want hamster babies in the future. I would say male. But, if not, go with female. The only bad part is, if u keep them in the same cage, they will fight. If not, ur fine. I bought two females from the local pet shop and they were cuddling in their cage together. When we got them home, they fought and bit each other. But I would say female, but in separate cages.
