17 pregnant, and High school dropout?

Last year I dropped out of High School (Not because I'm pregnant) but because I hated being around other students. Everyone was about smoking, Drinking, and Partying and because I did neither of the one I got picked on a lot, and bullied around. So I decided this year I was going to do Online Schooling. I'm currently not in school (summer break) but I've enrolled in a online school and should start in the fall. I'm not due until October 24th, and I'm trying to get a job now head of time I'm not sure where I get my work permit signed though? I've got 3 people looking to hire me and they require a work permit since I'm 17 years old. They said generally you would go to your high school and the officer would sign it for you, but because I'm not in public school what am I suppose to do? do I go to a Secretary of State? or my cities Town Hall? I would really like to have a summer job even though my family is very wealthy I hate relying on people and would like to buy and acquire my own money through work rather then they make life easy for me and take care of me and my child.
